Product Description
The AiLF U10 UAV Remote Laser Methane Leak Detector is a lightweight aerial gas detection system designed for efficient methane leak inspections across extensive pipeline networks and hard-to-reach areas. Using Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS), it detects methane concentrations from a distance of up to 150 meters, with a static detection limit of 3 ppm·m and a response time of just 0.025 seconds.
Weighing approximately 0.7 kg, the U10 is equipped with a three-axis stabilized gimbal to help maintain measurement stability during flight. Its DJI SkyPort integration supports deployment on compatible DJI Matrice 350 Series and Matrice 400 RTK UAV platforms, enabling operators to conduct aerial surveys while reducing the need for personnel to access potentially hazardous or difficult-to-reach locations.
With rapid response and remote detection capabilities, the U10 is suitable for natural gas transmission and gathering pipeline inspections, industrial site surveys, and methane leak investigations. It helps inspection teams identify potential leak locations more efficiently and supports data-driven maintenance and safety management.
Key Features
150 m Remote Detection
Detect methane from distances of up to 150 meters, supporting aerial inspections of pipelines and infrastructure that may be difficult to access on foot.
High Sensitivity and Fast Response
The TDLAS-based system offers a static detection limit of 3 ppm·m and a response time of 0.025 seconds, helping operators identify potential methane leaks quickly.
Lightweight UAV Integration
With a main unit weight of approximately 0.7 kg and DJI SkyPort compatibility, the U10 is designed for integration with supported DJI Matrice 350 Series and Matrice 400 RTK platforms.
Three-Axis Stabilized Gimbal
The stabilized gimbal helps reduce the effects of UAV vibration and movement, supporting more stable remote measurements during aerial inspection.
Efficient Aerial Pipeline Surveys
Inspect long pipeline routes and elevated or inaccessible infrastructure from the air, reducing reliance on manual access to every inspection point.
Selective Methane Detection
Laser absorption spectroscopy is used to detect methane (CH₄), supporting selective measurement in environments containing other atmospheric gases.
